Family guide

Booking a pickup for family from abroad.

Updated October 2026. When a parent or relative lands in Zambia and you are thousands of kilometres away, you want to know they were met, looked after and got home safely. This is how to arrange it.

1. Send the details

On WhatsApp or by email, send the traveller's name and phone number, flight number and date, the destination address, the number of bags and anything they need help with, such as walking, a wheelchair at the airport or extra time.

2. Get a written price and pay remotely

You receive a fixed price in writing. Pay from abroad and the receipt comes to you by email. The traveller does not need to carry cash for the transfer.

3. Updates while they travel

We send you the driver's name and number before pickup, then WhatsApp updates at each step: driver at the airport, passenger collected, on the way, arrived. You can share the driver's details with the traveller too.

4. Make it easy for them

  • Tell them the driver will hold a board with their name in the arrivals area.
  • Make sure their phone works on arrival, or give us a family contact in Zambia.
  • Ask for a child seat or a larger car if they are travelling with children or a lot of luggage.

See airport transfers: Lusaka, Livingstone, Ndola and Mfuwe.
