The gateway to South Luangwa.
Mfuwe Airport is the gateway to South Luangwa National Park. Lodges near the Mfuwe gate are typically 30 to 45 minutes away; camps deeper in the park can take two hours or more on game-viewing roads.
Many lodges include transfers in their rates. Where yours does not, or you are travelling between lodges or on to Chipata and Lusaka by road, we will arrange it.

Before you land.
What if my flight is delayed?
Send us your flight number and we follow it. If you land early or late, your driver is re-timed to your actual arrival. If you are held up for a long time inside the terminal, message us on WhatsApp so we can keep your driver informed.
Do you run the safari activities yourselves?
No. Game drives, boat trips and adventure activities are run by licensed lodges and operators under their own safety rules. We arrange the transport, connect the bookings and give you one written price.
When is the best time to visit Zambia?
May to October (dry season) is best for wildlife in South Luangwa, Lower Zambezi and Kafue. Victoria Falls is at its fullest from about February to May, and August to January brings lower water, clearer views and Devil's Pool. November to April is green season: lush, quieter and good value.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer or mobile money, with a receipt every time. Family and companies paying from abroad can pay remotely. Corporate accounts are invoiced monthly. The payment options for your booking are listed on your quote.
Can I change or cancel?
Yes. Tell us as early as you can. Cancellation terms are given in writing before you pay and depend on what has already been committed to suppliers. See our booking terms.
