Booking terms
Clear terms, before you pay.
The framework that applies to every Biyashara booking. Your written quote sets out the specific terms for your journey.
Morning on the Great East Road
Last updated: October 2026. These terms apply to services provided by Transport Solutions Zambia Limited, trading as Biyashara Mobility. The specific inclusions, price, deposit, balance date and cancellation terms for your booking are stated on your written quote, which takes precedence.
1. Quotes
Every quote lists inclusions, exclusions, the price and the period for which it is valid. Quotes are issued in Zambian Kwacha unless stated.
2. Confirmation and deposits
- A booking is confirmed when you accept the quote and meet its payment terms (or, for account clients, when an approved booker confirms).
- Multi-day journeys, packages, events and bookings that require us to commit third-party suppliers require a deposit; the balance date is stated on your quote.
3. Changes
We welcome changes and will do our best to accommodate them. Any change that affects the price is approved by you before it is made (our Price Assurance).
4. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation terms are issued in writing before payment. They depend on the commitments already made to suppliers such as lodges, charter flights, activity operators and event capacity, which may be non-refundable. Where a refund is due, it is processed using the original payment route where possible.
5. Waiting time, extras and out-of-hours
Waiting time, out-of-town travel, late-night service and additional stops are explained before confirmation and charged only as agreed.
6. Our assurances and recovery
On qualifying prepaid airport, executive and account services, a qualifying failure on our part triggers a replacement, refund or service credit under our written recovery terms.
7. Third-party activities
Adventure activities, lodge stays, park activities and flights are delivered by licensed or accredited third-party operators under their own terms and safety procedures. We coordinate and may package them into one quote. Activities are seasonal and weather-dependent; safety always overrides schedule.
8. Substitutions
If a confirmed vehicle, driver or supplier becomes unavailable, we provide an equivalent or better substitute and tell you before the journey wherever possible.
9. Travel documents and insurance
You are responsible for passports, visas and entry requirements. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all journeys.
10. Security
We provide professional, protocol-aware movement. We do not provide armed or protective security services; where required, these remain with authorised specialists or authorities.
11. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, but we will always communicate quickly and work to recover your journey.
These terms are a clear framework and should be reviewed by a qualified adviser against applicable Zambian consumer and tourism requirements.
