Three days at the edge of one of the natural world’s great spectacles — where adrenaline, history and the Zambezi River meet.
Victoria Falls from the Zambian side, Livingstone
The journey
Victoria Falls is the reason most travellers first look at Zambia, and it remains one of the most complete short breaks the country offers. In three days you stand at the lip of the world’s widest curtain of falling water, track white rhino on foot in the only national park in Zambia where they roam, and close the day with the Zambezi turning gold beneath you.
This is our most requested weekend format: enough structure to feel effortless, enough free time to set your own pace, and a local storyteller-guide throughout.

Victoria Falls, Livingstone
Day by day
Morning: arrive in Livingstone (about 1 hour by air from Lusaka, or roughly 6–7 hours by road); private transfer to your riverside accommodation.
Afternoon: guided walk through Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park’s Falls trails — the Knife-Edge Bridge and Eastern Cataract viewpoints — with commentary on geology, history and the communities who shaped Livingstone.
Evening: sunset cruise on the upper Zambezi — hippos, elephants at the water’s edge and the river turning gold.
Morning: your signature activity — Devil’s Pool and Livingstone Island (seasonal, roughly August–January), or the gorge swing, zipline and gorge hikes. White-water rafting is at its best in the same low-water window.
Afternoon: Livingstone Museum, curio and craft markets and a walk through the town’s historic streets.
Evening: traditional Zambian dinner with drumming and dance.
Morning: on-foot white rhino tracking in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park with an armed ranger — one of very few places in Africa to approach rhino on foot at close, safe range.
Afternoon: free time for shopping, a spa treatment or a last view of the Falls before your airport transfer.
