What would you like to know?
How do I book with Biyashara?
Send us a WhatsApp message on +260 77 0057437 with your route, dates, number of travellers and anything special (luggage, child seats, accessibility, occasion). A voice note is perfectly fine.
- We acknowledge your message and ask only what we need.
- You receive clear options — Essential, Comfort, Executive or Group — with inclusions and exclusions in writing.
- You confirm, and receive a booking code and confirmation card.
- Before pickup you receive your verified driver and vehicle details.
You can also use the booking form on our Contact page, which opens WhatsApp with your details already filled in.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
For single transfers and day services, payment terms are stated on your quote. Multi-day journeys, packages, events and anything that requires us to commit lodges, flights or specialist suppliers need a deposit to secure them, with the balance date stated in writing. Corporate accounts are billed monthly with itemised trip logs.
How can I pay?
The payment options available for your booking are listed on your quote — typically bank transfer and mobile money, with remote payment options for international clients and diaspora families paying on behalf of relatives in Zambia. You always receive a receipt.
Will the price change after my journey?
No. Our Price Assurance means no unapproved surprise charges. Anything that can change the price — waiting time, out-of-town travel, late-night service, extra stops — is explained before you confirm, and any change during the journey is approved by you first.
How quickly will you respond?
Every enquiry is acknowledged within our published service window and standard routes are usually quoted the same day. Complex journeys, events and delegations take a little longer because we confirm real availability with real suppliers before we promise anything.
Can I change or cancel a booking?
Yes — tell us as early as possible. Cancellation terms are always issued in writing before you pay, and depend on what has been committed to suppliers (for example lodges, charter flights or event capacity). See our Booking Terms for the full framework.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Our airport coordination is flight-aware wherever possible: we monitor your arrival and adjust the pickup. Under our Arrival Assurance you are informed before a delay ever becomes an unexplained missed pickup.
Where will my driver meet me?
In the arrivals area, with a name-board on request. Your driver's name, contact and vehicle details are shared with you on WhatsApp before you land, so you know exactly who is waiting.
Which airports do you cover?
Kenneth Kaunda International (Lusaka), Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International (Livingstone), Mfuwe (South Luangwa) and Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International (Ndola) — plus lodge airstrips and onward connections by arrangement.
Do you handle late-night arrivals?
Yes. Our First Night Zambia service takes late and first-time arrivals from the aircraft to a settled first night — including a connectivity or currency stop and a meal option if needed. Any late-night charge is stated before you confirm.
Can you provide child seats or space for lots of luggage?
Yes — tell us at booking. We match the vehicle to your passengers and luggage (sedan, SUV, executive vehicle or minibus) and confirm child-seat requests in writing.
Can I hire a chauffeur by the hour, day or week?
Yes. We offer half-day and full-day chauffeur service (quoted to your programme), multi-day executive movement and standing arrangements for repeat principals — with a quiet cabin, route planning and waiting built in.
How do corporate accounts work?
One partner, one account. Accounts are tailored to your monthly movement, with approved bookers, priority availability, itemised trip logs and one consolidated monthly invoice. Retainer, pay-as-you-go, dedicated-vehicle and project-mobility structures are available. See Corporate Mobility.
Do you provide security services?
We provide professional, discreet and protocol-aware movement, and we coordinate closely with protocol officers and a principal's own security team or the appropriate authorities. We do not provide armed or protective security services ourselves.
Can you manage transport for a conference or wedding?
Yes — this is what Biyashara Command is built for: master movement schedules, guest loops, VIP arrivals, standby vehicles, a live control desk and a close-out report. See Events & Delegations.
Are your journeys private or small-group?
Both. Choose a Signature Journey (premium, very small group or private), Comfort Explorer (clean, comfortable value), Wild Canvas (partner-operated camping) or Private House (a journey built entirely around your family, group or delegation).
What is the best time to visit Zambia?
- May–October (dry season): peak wildlife viewing in South Luangwa, Lower Zambezi and Kafue.
- February–May: Victoria Falls at its most thunderous.
- August–January (low water): Devil's Pool, white-water rafting and the clearest Falls views.
- November–April (green season): lush landscapes, superb birding and better value.
Do I need a visa?
Requirements depend on your nationality and change from time to time. Many visitors use the KAZA Univisa, which covers Zambia and Zimbabwe plus day trips into Botswana. We confirm current requirements with you at booking.
What do Planned, Confirmed and Guaranteed departures mean?
Planned — interest and waitlist open; please don't book non-refundable travel yet. Confirmed — minimum group and principal suppliers secured. Guaranteed — backup capacity and supplier commitments secured; it will run. Sold out — waitlist and next departure offered.
Do you operate the adventure activities yourselves?
No — and that is deliberate. We are the coordinator and ground partner. Rafting, bungee, gorge swings, flights and walking safaris are delivered by accredited, insured specialist operators and licensed guides, while we handle every transfer, timing and connection. Safety always overrides the schedule.
Can you design a completely custom itinerary?
Yes. Tell us your dates, interests, pace and budget and we design it around you — honeymoons, milestone trips, film and media teams, study tours and family reunions. Very complex planning may carry a design fee, which we always tell you about upfront.
Can Zambian residents join journeys?
Absolutely — our Weekend Zambia departures are built for residents and expats, with real dates, visible seats, clear all-inclusive quotes and professional hosting.
How do I know my driver and vehicle are verified?
Under our Identity Assurance, verified driver and vehicle details are shared before every pre-booked pickup. Qualifying journeys also receive a Biyashara Ready confirmation: driver verified, vehicle checked, route reviewed, your requirements confirmed and support contact active.
What happens if something goes wrong?
You have one accountable team and a named escalation contact. On qualifying prepaid airport, executive and account services our Recovery Assurance means a qualifying failure triggers a replacement, refund or service credit under written terms — funded by a ring-fenced Assurance Reserve.
Can you accommodate accessibility needs?
Yes — carefully. We confirm accessibility against the exact vehicle, room, route, toilet, walking surface and activity, and we never make vague "accessible" promises. Tell us exactly what support is needed and we design around it.
Is my personal information safe?
We collect only what we need to deliver your journey, keep it secure and restrict access to it. Biyashara never sells personal travel data. You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
Can I book transport for my parents or relatives from abroad?
Yes — this is one of the things we do best. You book and pay remotely, approve who travels, and our Family Guardian service delivers respectful, patient care with a known driver.
Will I receive updates while my family travels?
Yes. You receive milestone updates on WhatsApp — collected, on the way, delivered, home safe — and a completion confirmation, so you are never left wondering.
Can you organise a full homecoming?
Roots & Return manages a diaspora homecoming end to end: airport waves, family vehicles, hometown journeys, ceremonies, accommodation and errands — so your time at home is spent with people, not logistics.
We run a hotel, lodge or Airbnb — how can we work together?
Through HostLink and the Biyashara Destination Desk your guests get a branded booking link or WhatsApp code, airport instructions and a service catalogue, while you receive status updates and consolidated billing — without running a transport desk.
Do you offer net rates to tour operators and agents?
Yes. Trade terms are agreed privately with each partner: net trade pricing for operators reselling onward, preferred rates for repeat volume and monthly consolidated invoicing for account partners. See Partners & Trade.
I am a driver, fleet owner, guide or lodge — how do I join your network?
Apply through WhatsApp. Every partner passes application, verification (licences, registration, insurance, references), inspection, a controlled trial and a written agreement before activation — then earns priority based on reliability, not favour.
Where are you based?
We operate from Lusaka, Zambia with an owned core and a growing network of verified specialists that lets us coordinate journeys across the country.
